The merger between Intesa Sanpaolo Bank and CR Firenze was successfully completed

On 1st October 2012 Intesa Sanpaolo Group merged its banking subsidiaries in Romania. Intesa Sanpaolo Romania will be the surviving entity taking over by absorption all assets of CR Firenze Romania, said Intesa in a statement.

Following the merger, the first one in the local market in the past 5 years, Intesa Sanpaolo Bank will operate through a network of 90 branches with approximately 1.000 employees and total assets of more than 5 billion RON.
