BCR started granting mortgages via Prima Casa 4 government programme |

Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) started, yesterday, granting loans via the “First Home 4” programme, thus becoming the first lending institution taking part in the new stage of the program.
“BCR has a balance of EUR 600 M of loans granted up to now via the ‘First Home’ program. We will be able to grant loans via this program for another one year and a half or two years, if we double our exposure,” Oana Petrescu, deputy president of Retail BCR, stated, in a release.
The interest is variable and is made up of the three months’ Euribor plus a 3.75 pc-margin for clients who already have a history with BCR (respectively, a 3.95 pc-margin for first-time clients).
For a loan of EUR 40,000, to be paid in 30 years, the monthly interest rate is, at present, EUR 219.22. Clients have to be able to produce a down payment of 5 pc out of the buying price or the building cost of the home.
