Millennium Bank completed the procedures for identifying and validating the eight winners of the unconventional interactive contest Millennium Treasure, promoting the bank’s Salary Account. The total awards are worth RON 34,500, said the bank in a press release.

The grand prize, consisting of one year’s average net salary per economy, goes to Luoana Predescu, from Timişoara, who raised the greatest number of points from Millennium Treasure coins. She will receive RON 18,000, representing the value of an average net salary per economy, of RON 1,500, paid monthly, for a year.

The two second prizes, consisting of three months’ salary, go to Constantin Bocăneţ, from Bacău, and Lucia Rebreanu, from Cluj, the next competitors ranked according to the number of points collected from coins. Each of them will receive RON 4,500, representing the value of an average net salary per economy, paid for three months.
The winners of the five third prizes were designated after drawing lots. Cristina-Elena Toma, from Bucharest, Graţian Bodrogean, from Arad, Mihai Tui, from Iaşi, Diana Petrilă, from Arad, and Daniel Mitre, from Arad, will receive RON 1,500, representing one month’s average net salary per economy.

Millennium Treasure’s Facebook application registered approximately 15,000 users and nearly 1,500 accounts were created on the contest’s website, www.millenniumtreasure.ro, over the eight weeks of campaign. The competition website also reported significant traffic, with more than 110,000 visits and almost 70,000 unique visitors over the campaign’s entire period, according to Google Analytics data.
Millennium Treasure campaign was created to promote Millennium Bank’s Salary Account, destined to clients who regularly transfer their monthly income to the bank. The account is available in RON and offers zero administration fee, zero fee for withdrawals from Millennium Bank ATMs, as well as gratuity for two withdrawals per month from any other banks’ ATMs, free access to Internet Banking and Call Center services and zero administration fee, during the first year, for the chip debit card attached to the account as well as free of bank charge RON payments performed through the Internet for amounts lower than 200 RON.

Other benefits of the Salary Account include preferential interest rates for loans, higher rates for deposits created through Internet Banking and overdraft of up to three salaries.
