Bank of Cyprus announcement: Participation in Banca Transilvania |

Further to the announcement dated 17 May 2010 the Bank of Cyprus Group decided, taking into consideration the rest of its priorities, to withdraw its application to the National Bank of Romania for the increase of its participation in the share capital of Banca Transilvania to up to 20%. This decision does not affect the Bank of Cyprus Group’s strategy in Romania, said the bank in a press release.
