IMF Press Statement:

Today, Mr. Guillermo Tolosa, IMF Regional Representative for Romania and Bulgaria has issued the following statement:

“Teams from the IMF and European Commission are holding meetings with the Romanian authorities in Brussels on recent economic developments and the status of policy implementation in key areas under the EU/IMF-supported program.

The exchange of views will be informal, namely they will not constitute a formal review under the program.

The teams are also discussing with the authorities the preparation of the second budget rectification for 2014.”
