BCR press release: The Supervisory Board of Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) approved several changes in the composition of BCR’s Management Board (Executive Committee), pending approval of National Bank of Romania.

Mrs. Adriana Jankovičová currently Head of Group Performance Management at Erste Group will be the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of BCR. Mrs. Jankovičová, a seasoned financial professional, joined Erste Group in 2002 as Head of Balance Sheet Management at Slovenská sporiteľňa. In 2006, she took over Head of Erste Group Asset & Liabilities Management and consequently was appointed to manage the controlling function at Erste Group.

Mr. Bernd Mittermair, currently Chief Financial Officer, has been assigned to manage the Remedial, Restructuring and Recovery business line. BCR shall further build upon Mr. Mittermair skills and business exposure to achieve significant asset quality improvement.

Mr. Michael Beitz, until presently Vice-President overseeing the troubled assets portfolio, shall assume a new key role within Erste Group Holding.

All change of roles in the board of BCR are pending approval of National Bank of Romania and expected to come into effect starting with March 1st 2014.
